Testing stations have been conducting extra checks on these 6351 alloy cylinders for years now, due to cracks appearing in the necks of some cylinders. Luxfer still considers them to be OK so long as they continue to pass tests. Unfortunately, Worksafe has decided to ban them completely from October 1.

Luxfer considers them out of warranty unless they are US Diver's branded, which came with a non-transferable lifetime guarantee, and you can prove you are the original owner. Good luck with that - I've got 3 that were bought in 1982. Who keeps receipts that long.
