I'm new to the page and wanted to say hi to all.
I'm heading to Coromandel in April land base fishing with a friend.
We'll be there for approx 7 days staying at fisherman's lodge and fishing surrounding areas depending on weather and water conditions then heading down to Taupo/Turangi to do some hunting and fresh water fishing the rivers and lakes.
I'm hoping I may be able to make some friend and contacts prior to our trip and gain some info and knowledge of the areas mentioned.

Hey Shad if you want Intel on landbased fishing contact Capt Owen, he's a skipper with Epic adventures charters. He used to be their LBG guide.
What he doesn't know about landbased fishing around Coro isn't worth knowing.
He currently skippers one of the Epic boats and doesn't guide on landbased any more but I'm sure he will give you some tips.
