Am setting myself up a light micro jig outfit and need to spool up a Shimano Stradic FK 1000. I'm looking to spool it with Dual Hardcore braid but I cant make up my mind if I should go with PE 0.6, 0.8 or 1.0. I want to get enough line on there in case I hook a Kingie as by-catch. I don't know how thin the stuff is... Anyone have any idea?

I use Tasline 8lb on my light micro jigging reel and 12lb on my heavier set. Tasline Elite is awesome , so smooth and thin so doesnt affect jigs from working how they are meant too.

Won't really matter probably better off having more PE.6 on the spool. The reel has such a light drag you will need every metre of line you got if you a decent King.

I run 6lb Sufix 832 on a Sustain 1000, have landed a legal king on it without too much drama. I wouldnt want any heavier braid.
