Hi gents

In the process of upgrading and have narrowed it down to the above two. Putting aside the lever v star drag arguement, which would be your choice for a reel that's used for 50% jigging for kings at White and surrounds and 50% deep drops (300m +) for Bluenose & Bass.

Also, anything else you wold REALLY recommend over those two in the same $600 range?

Cheers!

Jigging for kings at White I wouldn't recommend either reel! The TAC 10 only puts out 9kg of drag and the Trini 16 has 11 kgs. You want double that!!!!

The TAC 12 however will deliver 18 kg of drag and is more than capable.

Others to look at would be the Maxel FC50 or the Poseidon 500R Kaveman on here will sort you out

Talica 12 with 400m PE6 is probably your best option...

Get a Torsa handle for it from Marine Deals. They are a bit longer.
