Hi All, am getting setup with my own gear to give top-water stickbaits a go, can anyone tell me a reasonably priced way to get the proper supple type casting mono ? Not really keen on paying couple hundy for top end stuff. Any ideas or brand recommendations appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I like Varivas Shock Leader - 130lb usually. $40 for 50m or half that price if you shop online

Thanks all for your recommendations, excuse my lack of knowledge but are any of these classed as true "casting leader" ?

if you are only using the leader for casting i find that mono works well. With a flurocarbon leading it can be awkward for casting and as kingfish normally follow a stickbait/poper from behind the wont see the mono leader anyway. live baiting for sure stick with flurocarbon.
Hopefully that helps.
Cheers
