Here's my spesh recipe:

Step One: Get yer first mate to set off the cannons and fire straight into the ole blue waves.

Step Two: Collect all of yer booty (Any fish will do, though we steer clear of ye olde puffer fish)  use yer hook (or yer wooden leg) to pummel those fish to grub

Step Three: Loot the nearest village and have the finest wench fashion you a cooking device

Step Four: Throw yer haul on the flames, generously dousing with me finest spiced rum

Step Five: Rip yer fish’s head of with yer teeth, then hoover it, spittin’ out the bones as ye go.

Step Six: Wash ‘er down with yer favourite goblet of Cap’n Morgan rum and cola – yo ho ho she’s a perfect match

Shiver me timbers that’s a fine feast!

Zombie Pirate:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Using a jigger, measure 50ml Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, 50ml pineapple juice, 25ml passion fruit syrup and 25ml lime juice into the shaker. Add a splash of grenadine.

Shake the mixture vigorously in the cocktail shaker until the surface of the shaker feels chilled.

Strain into a tankard filled with ice cubes.

Using a jigger, measure 25ml Captain Morgan Original Rum and pour it on top of the drink as a float (do not stir). Add a dash of Angostura Bitters.

Add a piece of pineapple to the drink as a garnish – try hooking a pineapple ring over the edge of the glass, or adding a wedge to the top of the drink.

Nice. there's been an infestation of zombies lately out this way. Luckily I have some silver bullets. They work on zombies right?

Frozen Capt Morgan Spiced Rum will keep them at bay for sure!

Ye Olde Pirate Stew.

a slow cooked stew ideal to throw together before a big day of pillage and other pirate stuff, or a days fishing!

Cube up a good amount of your available meat..beef, pork and venison work great.
Coat in well seasoned flour and brown in a hot pan with bit of oil or butter.
Chuck in heaps of chopped onion to fry off abit also.

Transfer to ya crockpot or similar.
Add diced veges..heaps of them!
Combination of any or all of the following ..potato, kumera, parsnip, carrot, celery, turnip is nice if you got it.
Tin of kidney beans also to go in now

Add some tomato puree, good glug of Worcestershire sauce, beef stock,
Couple tablespoons of brown sugar , a good teaspoon of chilli powder or smoked paprika if you are a sissy.
Next is a good 1/4 mug of the ol Captain Morgan, a good mix up with some lashing of salt n pepper and shes ready for cooking away in the corner whilst you do your important stuff.

It's the kind of food that you adjust to suit how you like it so I don't have exact measurements.
It will be ready to eat when you are, straight out of the pot if you are too tired to get a bowl out is ok.
Bon up a teet! me hearties

An adaptation on the ol classic "Kezza's Burning Ring of Fire Jerky"…

Capt. Morgan's 'Fire in The Hole' Pirate Jerky

Prep:

1a) Pour a Captain Morgan, cola and ice

1) Secure an amount of bog standard 'on special' beef schnitzel (24 pieces fills a 6 rack Bradley)

2) cut in to strips with the grain of the meat

3) Didn't really take note of measures here for the marinade but it went something like this: mix with meat - 100mls of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, honey soy, habanero hot sauce, finely chopped up fresh fire-cracker chillies, salt, brown sugar and extra honey.....pretty much any BBQ steak marinade will work here, so get adventurous and don't be afraid to experiment.

4) place all ingredients in VAC PACK and seal being sure not vacuum all of the air out of the bag, so ingredients can be sloshed about and reassigned about the meat every few hours.....a click clack type container would work here I am sure as another option.

5) 2 days later, open bag and arrange beef strips on jerky racks.

6) I placed all 6 racks on top of each other and on to a roasting dish and back in to the fridge for a couple of hours to allow excess marinade a chance to drip away.

Jerking:

7) 1 hour @ 60degress with no smoke to further dry off surface of meat, flip beef strips around 30mins in to prevent sticking.

8) 3 hours @ 70 degrees with Special Blend Bradley Bisquettes

9) 3 hours @ 80 degrees with no smoke

- from around the end of stage (8) several pieces had been jerkified so removed them and checked every 30minutes taking out any completed product before any had the chance to overcook....there is an easy way to tell if a piece is ready and that is the "bend test" (not sure what it's called but that will do)...basically bend the strip length ways and it should crack and show "white" fibers at the crease...if it snaps it's over done, if it bends like a piece of rubber it's still got some time to go.

RAT SOUFFLE
Make sure that the rat's squeals are not audible from the street, particularly in areas where the Anti-Souffle League and similar do-gooders are out to persecute the innocent pleasures of the table. Anyway, cut the rat down and lay it on the chopping-board. Raise the chopper high above your head, with the stell glinting in the setting sun, and then bring it down - wham! - with a vivid crunch - straight across the taut neck of the terrified rodent, and make it into a souffle.

He's been around these parts( fish.net).
Azzzaaaa is his name, probably more Viking than pirate with a boat called DRAKAR 1.
Dont know many blokes keener , generous...will share most of the good things in life..baits, booze,boat..etc.
Usually lets the crew out fish him but will school you on catching carrots when out on your boat!
Just a G.C captain I Have met through this forum.
