Wow - that's pretty damming stuff. Bad as the video footage is, the Achilles report is even worse (see 'Operation Achilles Final Investigation Report'). Some of the comments include:

'...unlawful discarding and non-reporting of catch was substantial and an endemic practice amongst the fishers...' and '...the subsequent interviews of permit holders, skippers and crew confirmed the widespread nature of this activity and often showed an alarming ignorance of the laws, regulations and requirements of the Fishing Act by fishers with many years experience in the fishing industry...'

and finally '...it is unfortunate that my July preliminary report found its way into the hands of industry...' followed by the mention of lawyers emails!

^^ yup. theres lots of not so good in that report. now it's out I wonder what the repurcussions will be internationally especially around our world renowned fishing practises.

Am I missing something in that report?

understandable not to prosecute???

monitoring/cameras will allow instant access to catch etc?

But the industry is monitoring itself so no change(trident)
