This is the headline in the September issue of  Fishing & Outdoor.
Page 5 starts by exposing the unethical nature of this forum. Letters to the editor also warrant a read.
All in all recreational fishermen need to be aware of whats going on behind the scene's as the commercial interests are endevouring to set themselves up as legitimate governing bodies.

completely agreed.People will not wake up to the fact until it is to late .

Just like the current SNA1 review currently under way ...

sold out by your recreational lobby group....

Don't get sold out with the current proposals.. They are not being pushed by your recreational lobby group..In the current SNA1 review...Sticking plasters are what they are using ..the same story as in the past

Getting Trawlers out of the Gulf is KEY for a rebuild and a bounce back to B40 biomass ....the same people will be still scratching their heads plus other things in 10 years time ....

We know where the problem is lets fix it !!

Ha Ha. Fat chance of anything changing.
Comment by Nick Smith today says it all.

"The Auckland housing market is out of control but no changes are needed.' Wow. How outstandingly insightful.
This typifies the attitude in many areas including our fisheries.

Things will resolve them selves however. Have seen two closures this year and more will undoubtedly follow.

Sadly N.Z saltwater fishing as a destination has changed from being exceptional to mediocre or less.

It won't display the September edition, any chance of pasting the article here for perusal?

Sorry but I don't know how to get an online copy to post here, bad luck because there's some damned good stuff on the miss-use of 1080 and lots of both saltwater and river/lake fishing as well.
I recommend everyone get hold of a copy of Fishing & Outdoor, September issue, lots of really important environmental concerns being bought to the readers attention.

Steady - Are you able to highlight the text of interest then copy and paste into Word and then copy and paste that on to this forum perhaps?

Stop Press - I think I can see the problem and that is because it is displayed in Adobe Flash Player.

Let me see if I can do something here.
