Hi all ,

I'm after a new or hardly used jig rod to match my stella 20000. Gonna be loading it with pe8 or pe10. Had a look at a jigging shop at the mc works which was mint but very expensive, although I dont mind spending if its a must .After something in the 300 -500 gram range. Thinking possibly a synit or jigging master for around a grand ? Any suggestions on other brands would be helpful or what others are using. Have heard the shimano blue rose is quite average. Cheers in advance Johnny

Be good to see one before I buy and see what the action is like. Have heard they are good .I see they are sold through de coro. Anyone else sell them? Better give them a call and see what they have. Cheers

Decisions decisions. Will be using it as a livebaiting rod after the trip so doesn't have to last forever. Definitely don't wanna be undergunned at the kings though as I plan on going max drag on the Stella

Check out the Jig Star Ninja MH spin rod.  1/2 to 1/3 price of those other brands and you won't be disappointed.  I have jigged the overhead versions at the 3 Kings and Ranfurly the last few years with outstanding results.  Check out Rod and Reel in Newmarket as I know they have them.

Cheers Chris sounds like a good option. I'll have a look when I get the time. Laidbackdood I think the high rails of cova rose will hold me nicely . Eat your spinach and you might improve your grip !
