When I want to go back to the previous page - usually from posts to return to the section eg Briny Bar - if I click on the Go Back arrow (top left), when the previous page arrives, the "New Posts" hasn't been updated (ie still shows previous posts as unread) - if instead I go up to the head of the page, and click on the menu for the previous page, when it arrives, the "New Posts" is updated correctly as read.
So - clicking the Go Back arrow, is much easier and faster - whereas going to the head of page is slower and involves more actions each time. Pity.
Im not sure how to improve this - preferably the Go Back arrow would update New Posts - but alternatively, a Go Back button at the bottom after the last post would do ok.

Right click in a blank area on the screen and choose the circular arrow on the splash menu which appears.  This updates what you have and have not read and reloads the current page for you.  Clicking on New Posts updates the site and the timing of your visit.  Works for me when I am feeling lazy...
