Just after some advise on a light stick bait rod for casting lures up to -100 grams but as light as 40 grams .looking for somthimg around 9ft for the extra length.going to be match to saragosa 8000sw.

heya mate, depends on your budget obviously. but have a look at the shimano jungle stix 8'4 10-15 kg. i'm looking seriously at one for harbour kings this summer.

I have a Shimano Akrab rod that I used to use with a 5000 reel. It's an overhead but casts well with a spin reel.

Has any one come across somthing abut longer say 9 ft?trying to keep under$250.doeant have to be any thing to flashy

They are only 8ft, bit have you considered the Backbone Topwater rod?

Yea I already have 8ft rod for the boat and casting lures 80gram plus.really looking for that extra length for land base in the habour this year.

Greg at Go Fish had a sweet 9 foot shore casting rod that would suit lighter stickbaits...
