I have a couple of nice jigging blanks that I would like to build, can anyone please point me in the right direction with regard to selection of eyes reel seat handle etc, is there a book I should read where do I buy the bits should I buy a machine. There is heaps more but one step at a time any help well received thanks Pete.

Start here: anglersresource.net, also look at BDOutdoors and 360Tuna both have rodbuiding sections

I buy from mudhole.com - exhange rate is going south so it will be worth buying components local, try Greg at Gofish.co.nz 

If you have nice blanks, then spend a bit extra and get decent components, no point spending days building a rod using cheap guides, reelseats etc....
