Havent posted on here in a while here Mat but ill flick some guidance.

Jigging wise there are multiple structures on the eastern side that we target ranging from 30meters right out to 180meters. Basically follow your charts and hit areas that you think look fishy. Watch that sounder and start plugging away. I will say this... Mayor Island is no give in for Jigging mate. Its wicked at the best of times but there is very far and few in between days. There area other areas on the western side heading around to the south easthern side. Use your sounder from for here once again to try locate structure and possibly kings rolling through this "highway".

Live bait can be found all over the Island mate. Berley is key to turn them on but also dont give up if you see livies in the berley train and they dont take. Give them time and you should pull a few (we have had to wait till 10am before first livie hits the deck)
