It is finally boat upgrade time after 8 years, in my lil 5.2m tub.

Partner likes Rayglass 730/2500, I dont like the lack of room to cast from at the back.

Billfisher 735 seems to fit the bill but likes hens teeth to find a decent 2nd hand one....

Its a dilemma...

i'm out on a mates 635 billfisher on wed, taking my topwater set so will let you know my thoughts.

love the trophy walk arounds too.

i did a season casting out of that model rayglass wasnt good at all the front deck is hopeless for casting

Yeah, thanks segador, kind of what I thought, it'd be nice to have a reasonable standing area at front of boat.

Best option for a front casting deck is a Grady-White walkaround model although very expensive and arguably the finest fiberglass boat manufactured in the USA (sorry Boston Whaler lovers). Extremely stable boat and great in very rough seas. Suggest you look at their website.

it's almost an oxymoron. Some sort of walkaround....Trophy, billfisher, scorpion.
