I'm looking for an aux outboard, I'd prefer a Tohatsu as the boat and the main engine are Tohatsu but it depends what's for sale and I'm moving up to Doubtless Bay hopefully next month so having an aux makes sense to me.
The Yamabisi outboards look good, the name sounds suspect and I'm not really keen on the Chinese stuff at this stage, does anyone have any opinions?

Not heard of anyone with one? A mate up the road was thinking of buying a parsun motor sold by FCO now - apparently there okay as long as you flush them after saltwater use.

Good fishing trip nothing breaks, great trip catch fish.

What hp aux are you after? All I can say is the chinese stuff is cheap normally for a reason. As long as you are don't expect to much from it then you should be fine. Alternatively there are some pretty good deals around on smaller outboards. I know of some pretty good deals on small Mercs/Yam/Suzy and BRP in the smaller hp's.
