Just wanting to know if anyone has done this before. I currently have a Shimano Saragosa SW 10k.
I find the rubber handle a little bit uncomfortable after a whole day fishing, So grabbed a second hand JM ball knob which apparently came off an ocean devil.
I had a play round last night hoping I could do a straight swap and put the ball knob on the existing handles shaft, but couldn't seem to get it to work, Has anyone put one of these on a stella etc before, any advice?

John
I would think you have different bearing and shaft sizes in your J/M knob to the Shimano Saragosa handle shaft, so you will need to match up correct bearing sizes , best to call over to see Kane at Decoros for this if you are in BOP, or if coming to AK then I can help at 99 Market Rd, Epsom, AUckland, cheers swordfishsteveSmile

Or you can get a factory alloy one from a stella - will be a straight fit with existing bearings, if you still have them. Just a matter of unscrewing origional then putting the new one on! simple as!

The shaft is longer on those Jm knobs and the inner bearing is smaller than the one that come with it i think......I have 4 of those jm knobs in 40 and 45mm on stellas and ocea jigger.....I hate those rubber septon knobs.....give me blisters......the jm knobs are a pleasure to use...sure you will like it.
