Hey guys,

Am wanting to fish 3 and 4 kg from outriggers but not sure how to do it?

With heavy tackle we fish with taglines and use size 32 rubber bands to connect the mainline. For the lighter gear is it possible to use smaller rubber bands? If so what size do people use?

Or is there a better way?

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers
Markus

I could be wrong and probably am as I have not yet fished those line class's but I would have thought that those line classes would be the exclusive domain of Pitch baiting as the shock load as it is pulled at the Band, Roller Troller or clip would be too great. I would also suggest that the weight at that Band just with the load of a Lure or bait in the water would be right up there as well.

Just a point of view and I will be interested in other opinions :)

Sorry should have given more info.

We are planning to chase albies next month and wanted to see if it was possible to run more than 2 rods.
