Lacked continuity/composure... i reckon.........thought the aussies looked good.......they might provide a stiffer challenge for the AB's next time out.AB's need a better forward effort on saturday and all will be good.

Yeah, looked good early in second half, passes started finding their mark and sticking. Look far better than England when we get going. I'd like them to keep Ben Smith at fullback, start Barrett and put Dagg on wing in place of Jane who hasn't been playing well. If Read is fit move Kaino to blindside and start Read at 8. My 2 cents.
Also, I thought the ball had to be grounded for a try?? Makes me wonder why McCaw's try wasn't awarded as he was the only one under it.

True. But I thought a ball had to travel back out of the hand as well to score a try Clear forward pass to NoNu so all square. Ben Smith is good. Really good

My point was more that they reviewed it, the ref thought it was held up as did everyone else, but they still got it wrong. We could pick over every mistake/miss in the game but for the TMO to make such a blatantly wrong decision is pretty poor. I'd be saying the same thing if it was the other way round.

pretty much agree there stonefish as would many I would think? last two test combined. I think for his massive work rate the most outstanding would be brodie retalic we may well have been 2 nil down if not for him.

Thought the Ab's were all over the poms in the second half and the final score flattered england at the end to a certain degree.

wonder how many more "get out of jail free" cards the blacks will need, our half back played like a school boy and thought nothing of it, 1 mistake yes but continued.....please.
when they tossed it about they did well but it appears in days gone by they are trying to rely on their fitness imho

All Blacks showed glimpses of form but are taking longer to gel than we are used to. By the same token this pommy team is far more competitive than the opposition we usually encounter during thiis part of the international season, and are gonna take some beating at World Cup time.

And this is not the full strength English team either. But in my opinion they are far better than the regulars

Last week they played their best in the second half.....yesterday they played their best in the first half.......That forward pass was a shocker but a very enjoyable game.....shame about the welsh.....I was gutted for them.....that armless tackle lost them the game......they just cant seem to pull the close ones off......The championship coming up in august will be very interesting this year.

I went to the game last night. I'm ashamed to say it's the first All Black game I've been too since the 2nd test v the Boks in1981, - that's disgraceful I know, but TV these days makes it so easy. Back in those days I was working at the game, but that's another story. Anyway back to last night - what a venue and atmosphere, the crowd is that close you may as well be on the track. A great first half performance, followed by a steady second half effort. I sat in front of members of the English touring party, they were singing the praises of the NZ back three - who were clearly helped by some pretty average tactical kicking. Bring on the Aussies on 16 August, and go the mighty Red and Black machine before that!!!!!!

Not very often i fall asleep watching the All Blacks but that was one of them.......dont think there was a single line break and i dont think the ref helped the game flow much.......shame the Ab's didnt take that record.
so have the aussies improved or the All Blacks gone down a bit?.......I know its early season but id say the later.......they looked flat to me....didnt have that fire about them i am used too. Maybe its early season or maybe because most of these players got their arses kicked in super rugby.....Only one player stood out for me out of both teams......the aussie capt.....he was hungry and had belief......The Ab's missed conrad too and no forward domination either.........theyd better wake up by saturday! or it could end in ......but home advantage should lift them some. The one thing that pisses me off.....is when the ball has gone into the scrum has been won by someone to the back.....the scrum then collapses and the ref blows it up and all the fuss bull**** of setting another scrum takes place.....wtf doesnt the ref just call use it or lose it and get the ball out and carry on.......the scrum has already collapsed ...cant get any worse.....get the ball out...players stand up quicker because the ball is free......if they here the whistle they take their time getting up.....there was a lot of that in that game....too many reset scrums and too long prepping for scrum....with no "Hit" the scrum is bloody boring......since when did players get injured on the hit anyway?.......its a pussy scrum engagement now.

Will Cruden be dropped for good now by the ABs management? After all,he did miss a penalty that cost the ABs the world record title. Happened to Beaver in 2010 in HK when he misplaced a clearing kick. Hansen was on the management team then too.

Great lift up by the Ab's..........exactly what was needed after last weeks effort....... another winger who cant fend "Folau" .......can go along with "North" of wales........if the big paw came out....a try would have been scored.

Yep aussie dominated but they also lay all over the ball and played with it on the ground and got away with it time and time again while the ABs got penalised time after time.. I actually gave up and went to bed after aussie last penalty only to get up to the ABs winning, really against the run of play. Far too many AB errors, knock ons, missed passes etc

The All Blacks managed to up their tempo and play fast rugby at the end and yet still remain composed on the ball......That is what sets them apart from northern hemisphere teams......eg Wales.......when Wales are playing catch up rugby they try to play fast/urgent but they look like they are panicking(which they are) and then come the inevitable errors.

Simply will and skill - the AB's have tickers as big as Pharlap and the skill to back it all up.
The only reason they lost in SA is because 'someone' lead with the shoulder, the Boks didn't win it, we lost it.
Richie is a living legend, regardless of what happens from here on in.

AB's can't play their game if they don't have the ball. Both games had a distinct and not missed lack of kicking from Aus & SA.
That being said, just gives Richie more opportunities to be awesome at what he does.

watched steve hansens press conference on his squad to go on the spring tour......he gave out a bit of a hint that mcaw will retire after the world cup.........would be a great way to go if they can win the world cup again......Ritchie will be able to pull off something that no other skip has ever done...have heard plenty of people bashing SBW but i agree hes a hard man to stop and will create chances for others ....plus the poms have some tall timber........i think he will be a handful for Wales....Thats for sure.
