I have a DFS 400 Slammer on my jigstar 250 and a friend has his 400 on a jigstar ninja, both setups are light and well balanced while being capable of boating big fish without breaking the bank.

I think Synit have been building a few rods specially for women. Shorter in the butt section I think. I've also got a dfs 400 which I run on a Jigstar 120 as a light set. Wouldn't let the wife use it tho coz I'd never get it back.

Synit do a great range of rods specially built for women. Lighter, shorter butt section. Nice and parabolic to be easy on the angler. I know there was a mantis x35 which would have been perfect. Light but with enough grunt to stop a good fish.
