Hi perch enthousiast

Tell me please, do you know any places to go for perch around Queenstown? We tryed lake Hayes. But it is very hard to access without a boat.

Tanks for any ideas - it mustn't be as good as the Ruamahanga - we are just a bit spoilt

And it there is anybody in the area who intends to go for perch - the best eaten Kiwi pestfish - I would be more then happy to join in. And my wife is very good in preparing perch Thai style.

Fishing is not a matter of life and death, it is much more important.

There are a few in lake Johnson as well but thats about it really.   So much good trout fishing that not many are interested in chasing perch.   Good to eat as you say though.
