all primed up and ready for the top coats finally. just got to sort it out with our local carpainter to throw the color on . thinking of an ice blue outside and an off white inside.

10-15hp is recommended. Be interesting to see how it performs with a 20hp though.

cheers mate. ive overbuilt it a ittle so its heavier than the standard hull. specs say 15hp max but i think it it would benefit with a little more
the Tohatsu 18 is something im considering...

Not too many people wish for a less powerful motor. Some wish for a lighter one though. There's a Suzuki DF15a on Facebook marketplace. Awesome motors for small boats. Easy start, reliable and enough grunt.

I've hidden a couple of posts, let's not detract from Mark's great work. This bit I have taken the liberty of cutting & pasting from Steps reply as it is relevant:

 have been wondering about what would go on the back.
How heavy, gross weight on water.. ppl gear etc?
And what hat cruise speed on the plane are you aiming for, normal load flat water?
 I havnt done one of these hulls would be interested to see where the therical numbers go when finally powered

flipped the hull to finish off the inside. High build epoxy priming and sanding underway.
