hey did anyone else read about the new boat that has been designed by a guy from  whakatane, in todays herald.

what an awesome boat! can do 45mph and is fully enclosed and self righting, and can operate in 10cm of water. Can also be airlifted out to sea by a helicopter for rescue work etc.looks like it could be a lot of fun and the chevy power plant can run upside down. AWESOME

runs upside down and can be airlifted to safety? hmm sounds like a boat for a canadian, where do i get one?

those jet boat guys do run upside down, i have seen them doing it on TV..... so all he's done is made it into a cabin so the water dosn't come in......... now anyone can have a go....

sounds more like a submarine. it would be awesome for running out to the barrier in. another bonus is you can check out the reef structures from underwater....who needs a fish finder especially in 10cm of water.
