Hey guys, anyone owned or have any thoughts on the McLay 390? I can't find much on the forum about these boats.

Do they ride well compared to pontoons of similar size? Any issues with them? Cheers

mclay stopped making them in 2008 - too many labour hours involved apparently - so any that come up are going to be getting old-ish.

some had flat floors factory installed - in my mind these are the ones to go for

quite a appealing little boat - but when compared to say... fc390... they are tiny inside

Yep no room and low sides makes them very wet, if you’re after a small pontoon boat the stabis and FC boats are much better then there’s the macs and the smartwave
