The way I'm going thru them I need a cheap source. Where do the pros on here go??

Mechanical jigging jigs 200/300/400gm.

Cheapest I've seen is buying on trademe a set of 12 for $177

The pain with trademe is you still have to pay for postage. I'm in the Tron.

Ideally around $10 or less a jig would reduce my swearing to just a couple of four letter words when busting off.

Those m&w jigs on trademe are all good they only 12 bucks just buy one then email him and ask for a heap. I picked up a few off him and they seem to do the damage.

Kaveman don't be backwards in coming forward...let us know ASAP when your shipment comes good, much appreciated.

Onthedrop your lead is the best to date, beating trademe's offerings....http://www.torpedo7.co.nz/shop/fishing/jigs

Some nice $9.99 models with assist hooks...using assist hooks that come with the jigs doesn't bother me as yet to loose a hook. But man do I lose jigs. Average 3 per session and as I always start with my good ones the cost starts to rival the gas money

I know this is cheap way of doing thing's, but try do it moulds for your jig needs...make your own jigs and save. only cost is the paint and wire and rings and hooks and kevlar cords.. but buy in bulk and you may save that lure from 10 bucks to 5 bucks or less a lure..
is what would be the cheapest way. the link is what jiggers would be after me thinks :)

Yes, what I was thinking... what set up are you using. Re: knots, Fluoro, Split Rings Grommets? Cord? etc...

But plenty of cheap jigs around...

That's what I thought? You shouldn't be loosing that many jigs? Are you getting snagged on the bottom? Don't drop all the way down, use the sounder and your depth hunter braid. Are you getting busted of by the fish? Maybe your going under gunned with your gear?
