Hi All, not fishing as much as usual these days, but when i go have been having great results. You would think thirty big Kopopa's-(small Kahawai) would be enough bait for a strayline session, but today could of easily done with fiftyBig smile I loaded up on them a few hundred metres off river mouth before venturing to my summer close in spot. No sooner i had Straylines deployed  it was only minutes before first hit! A good eating 5 kg model. From then till the next two hours i did battle with probably twenty five good snaps. Kept very little, released most. Everything storms off when your only in ten odd metres.LOL One of the keepers was a fat 20 lb to weigh for our two month summer comp. Also in between the Mayhem hooked a nice king which has ended up as twenty Strayline baits for next trip out. I only rate them as a bait fish and its pretty good with its tough skinThumbs Up
Recently i have taken a good friend of mine I have met through the forum to the exact spot i was at today, And I'm looking forward putting him on his first 20 lb Da! Come in Keith!! Couple of photo's, Best Snap and Kingi. Beer

Nice fishing Geoff well done. Fancy using kingfish for bait you must be spoilt for choice.
Why choose either diving or fishing when you can do both. Besides crayfish tail is very good bait!!
