Honda 100hp on Extreme 545

Does anyone out there have any experience with an Extreme 545 with a Honda 100hp outboard. Interested to hear performance reviews as I have a few concerns that our boat is not performing as it should in regards to motor needs to be trimmed fully down or it porpoises and max speed 50km/hr flat out
Hole shot take off is very slow and boggy . Cheers

There have certainly been a few posts from owners of Extremes with similar behaviour re; the bouncy nose. 

It appears to be a common trait across a few of their boat models - you could even see it when watching the Big Angry Fish television program.

With regards to solving it - no personal experience, but I do recall one chap having success with installing a Permatrim - type attachment. 

A set of trim tabs, i expect, would also largely solve your trim problems.

Another approach - which should also help with the lack of 'get up and go' - would be to move to a 4 bladed S/S propeller. Broadly speaking these offer more efficiency - and 4 blades specifically, will have more blade area for initial push and typically more stern lift than your factory supplied propeller.
No disintegrations!

Agree with the 4 blade well worth a try.

Also agree with 4 blade, grips water better like having good tyres on the road. Better mid range rpm economy and less riding the throttle in choppy conditions.
Motor height is another big influence on boat performance, may help with porpoising.
I'm no expert and there is lots in it but if you do the research its well worthwhile.
I think rule of thumb is to drop an inch of pitch to go 4 blade

Another thing you could try is playing with the motor height .
I once had a McLay 6 fisherman.
While i was out of the country my brother took it to a shop to get it serviced. 
The mechanic  insisted the motor was mounted to high and dropped it down two holes 
Totally killed the handling The boat no longer responded to trim and lost about 20% in top end speed 
50 kmh sounds very low for the boat and power what is your prop and  max revs?
