![]() Talking to a couple of today who have been over Napier area diving their favorite reef for crays and paua. To find dead paua and decomposing crays. They claim that in Napier area council have provided no where to dump silt etc from roads works and the roading contractors are just dumping it the sea. Can anyone shed any light as to whether true or not? |
![]() Sounds like good business Alan (very lucrative) as long as silt never goes anywhere else. A problem is usually just an upside down opportunity for someone or somebody else. Guess Govt are paying… poor old tax payer. But if solves a problem sensibly probably OK. Always a loser and a winner but in this case more of us taxpayers to spread load, and enriching some undeservedly may be best solution. |
