Just back from a week at barrier. Weather was not helpful for JetSki fishing but still managed some great fishing. The Fishpros are amazing!!
Mainly fished at 50 metres with range of softbaits- Microjigs and kaburas.
Great place with amazing scenery on the water and on shore.
When you can’t fish Island time kicks in and you don’t really care!
Got this nice snapper on a small tungsten jig from Kaveman tackle.

Having gone the other way fairly recently (i.e. ski to boat), I do miss the ski, but wouldn't say that one is better than the other, they're just different. The answer is obviously to have both, but Mrs MB didn't agree!

Yes I agree one is not better than the other. However one might be better for you than the other.
I’m loving the ease of towing ( after fishing out of a 9 metre) ease of wash up
Low cost for fuel. It’s horses for courses and right now for me I’m loving the change!
