Long way to go but things are on the improve. Next weekend may be the seasons defining game.   Will happily eat my words all day long if they keep this up.

Not quite as dominant or convincing as the score indicates but still a bloody good win. Takes them to 31 points and still a game in hand over the teams in front of them. Getting interesting and there is so much depth across all our franchises - were in for a good international season.

Played like a team of Champions, NZ is surely flush with talent at the moment
Beer: the most important meal of the day.

If ever a team deserved to win it was the sharks tonight. As for the crusaders, I'm speechless.

What a difference a week makes. NZ conference still wide open and continues to look good for the AB's.

Rusty and not good enough, but still sitting pretty as long as they find their mojo.

Hurricanes just wanted the win so much more tonight. Highlanders, Crusaders and Hurricanes all still alive and chasing those 2 playoff spots.
Beer: the most important meal of the day.

Yep interesting, all going well we could get three teams up. But Hurricanes have one less game to play and the Highlanders are away to the Warratahs, not to mention a few local derbies. Easier to guarantee a feed of fish.

Ok we are one game away from the business end of the comp. The Hurricanes and Blues are effectively gone. The crusaders are at best gainng momentum, the chiefs are hanging in there and the highlanders are our best bet but I can't help but think they''ll choke at the death.

So who are our best bet?

Unreal game of footy, on the back of a season where the crusaders were , at times, bloody hard to read. Well done the 'tahs'.

True story.
Imagine being a Kiwi in NSW for the next 12 months?
With both the Super 15 and to a lesser extent the State of Oringin cups in the cabinet/s.
Insufferable to be sure.
Cracker of a final eh.
Alas,another choke by Toddy,s boys.
They are not nailing the big games anymore, since 2008.
To be fair though, had that same final been played in Canterbury, the result would have been reversed by a larger margin.
Tahs scrum was well up to the task tonight.
Watch the oz rugby media pump up the Wallaby's chances to take the Bled Cup after tonight's performance.
I think 1 more win and the ABs have tier 1 world record winning streak/run.
ABs are are different beast though, more Nth Islanders to give the team killer finishing/winning edge.
Toddy should be safe as head coach.
Making a Super 15 final would have been a KPI job saver for him.
That Tahs coach must be a Wallaby,s head coach prospect now.
Oz Union needs more results like this as they are broke atm.
Bring on the ITM Series.

Peace.Via superior firepower..
