deffinetly heading north on sundy, fish on or not ,looking like a nice day on the waterThumbs Up

That was from the Auckland recreational marine forecast, but I usually use windfinder as it has a real time report from Matakawau -which says 20 gusting 35 right now. Having just checked again it has changed, and it looks like the wind may be moving through quicker than expected and dropping on Saturday instead of Saturday night. Have to see what the morning brings.

Windfinder gives a nice window early morning tomorrow so the kayak is patiently waiting on the car, the alarm is set and if it looks as good as the plan when I get up I'm out there!!!

Today the forecast was much worse and it turned out being very fishable from daybreak until 10am...

I wana check that spot I was telling you when we last kayaked, the one with the wave barrier or something.
So close to the harbour entrance I'm a bit concerned about the waves but I'll see how it goes.
