hey guys I've got a couple of questions I've got my old Penn long beach rod here and all the chrome guides have fallen off i would like to re place them with Fuji guides can i do this my self ? if so what do i need to buy to get it done and how hard is it to? I wouldn't mind paying some one to do it but i am on a budget so wouldn't be able to pay over $80. i realy like this rod and would like to fish with it again any help appreciated.

kadin most fishing outlets(the real ones) will put those guides on at about $10 each or so.That's what it cost me at Hunting and fishing a while back.
ONLY WHEN THE LAST TREE HAS DIED AND THE LAST RIVER BEEN POISONED AND THE LAST FISH BEEN CAUGHT WILL WE REALISE THAT WE CANNOT EAT MONEY.

the guides will cost you more than $80 - unless you use alconites then you will be in the ballpark
 
I have old Fuji Guides I could re-build your rod with .
 
I also have some SIC ones that are gold framed that nobody likes - so could do a deal on those too
