I have a mate who has a lass in a wheelchair who just loves her fishing. He is looking for a rod that will suit her special needs, something around ...up to 9ft long he thinks, that can move around the boat from her seated position.
Nagged, can you think of a good blank that could be made into a good suitable rod for the young lady? I was wondering perhaps a bent butt, maybe even a couple of rods, say a 6-10kg and a 15kg.
Using overhead reels for ease of use in the chair.
Any thoughts anyone?
