The first being pretty minor...I have 2 Penn slammer reels, a 460 and a 560, both bought from different but reputable stores, I would have thought the reels would be identical, obviously apart from their size, but the spool lip on the 560 is different. I only got it yesterday, and the difference wouldn't effect the reels opperation, just wanting to know if it's proper, what with all the fakes/clones ETC floating around these days. Also, the reels have a little cap at the back of them, not the spool end, the end of the body, and on the 560 it's loose. There doesn't seem to be any screws to tighten it, is the cap just there fore show, or should I get it sorted!
Other question is about the Penn affinity 3000, I've got braid on it, and it stacks more towards the back of the spool...there is a washer behind the little cog that works the clicker, and I've read online that it's there to be removed if you want to adjust the level of the spool...is this true?
It's a cool little reel, so I don't want to do anything to it that will wreck it!
Thanks,
