Anyone keen to get the kites out?  Will prob be heading out there in the morning, winds in the right direction, bit light but still worth giving it a go.

Had a bit of luck out there a few weeks back, few snaps, loads of carrots and couple of sharks.

Are you pulling in the sharks or are you getting busted off? We also catch alot of carrots and few snaps but we never get the sharks back in. Seem to just pull it back in with a few missing traces each time.

We're pulling them in ok.  I 'think' they're school sharks, just small ones about 1m length, or less.  Haven't been busted off yet, but one swung around on me last saturday, and bit straight through the trace it was caught on!  How heavy are your traces?  We run 22kg traces, on a 65kg dropper.
