Update, I managed to find 3 youths from our security footage on facebook and gave their names to the cops. They have appeared in court. Looks like they will be getting diversion.

Looks like the legal system will need a nice lie-down after all that work giving these crooks limp-wristed slaps with a wet bus ticket.

Did ya get the golf carts back??
I am sure some vigilante type justice, such as keying their skylines or similar will make you feel a whoule lot better.
 
I have found zed nails under all 4 tyres on the driveway does wonders for my own well being...

Got the carts back, but overall damage was around $10,000, insurance will no doubt be chasing them for his.

Did the police ever bother to turn up and do any work? You know, like they are paid to do - things like "investigate crimes" and "catch criminals?"
