Lake Rotorua's surface water temperature rose just under one degree C between 6am and 11am this morning to reach 19.15 degrees C.  The algae level has dropped from 5.3 at 6am to 1.8 at 11am.   Barometric pressure dropped 0.01 of a point to 1129.1 hPa and humidity dropped from 72% to 60%.  There hasn't been any rain.  Sunrise tomorrow is around 7.18am and sunset will be at 7.33pm.  We are expecting a high of 22 degrees by 3pm today and the UV Index is very high at 8.  It has been partly cloudy all morning and the moon is setting mid morning.  Tomorrow is expected to be partly cloudy in the morning, clearing  during the middle of the day and clouding over again late afternoon.

Lake Rotoiti's surface water temperature  is around 20 degrees C and the thermocline is below 14 metres.
