Hello all,
I am planning to come to New Zealand from the USA for about 6 months this coming January on a student study abroad program. I am interested in doing some fly fishing while I am there. I will be mainly in the canterbury area, but would like to travel most of the Southern Island in pursuit of trout. I plan on bringing only one fly-rod. I was wondering if anyone has an advice on what the best weight and length rod would be for me to bring along?? and also the best fly-lines to bring along (weight forward, sinking tip, etc. . .)? I will be using it almost exclusively for trout. Thanks for the advice!
Cheers!
