Sold my boat and looking to replace it with something that is easy to launch/retrieve single handed. Was leaning towards an
FC 500 or 535 but still open minded.
Extras live bait tank, capstan, clears, good sounder/plotter, 4 stroke a bonus.

Highly recommend a 535 if you can find one Dave. Great little boats.

No mate I haven't. Certainly happy to give it some thought.

Brief glance at those cuddy hulls look like my old Kingfisher.

Looks good mate
Those that say it can't be done are being overtaken by those doing it.

You won't regret it Dave. Is it the stock standard with the 60HP CT Merc?

You'll be more impressed the way it handles Dave. Had mine just over two years and done over 200 hours. I honestly believe in a moderate head chop it is smoother than the 620 Senator. Bloody site cheaper to run and more fishing room as well. Can't see me changing any time soon.

I've done 5 trips on my FC560 Centre Console. Happy with it so far. Does seem to ride well as described and very dry for a centre console. Haven't got wet yet!

EDIT: I'm aware that people are hugely biased towards boats they have just spent a heap of cash on, but I'm speaking as I find. If there was something major I didn't like, I'd say so.

Cheers team. Hopefully I get out next Monday or Tuesday. I'll put a report in the Tairua thread in the fishing trip section. Can't wait to get into the silver and blacks.
