Hoping there may be a Humminbird expert out there who can steer me in the right direction. I have an old Humminbird system which I installed myself including the Through-the-hull transducer and a GPS receiver. It's some 10 years old and am having issues with the screen so need to replace the head unit. I was hoping that I could buy a new unit which would simply plug in to the existing gps and transducer cables.
Or is it so old I should quit my loses and start over.
I found a Helix 5 sonar unit which looked like it was compatible but that did not have the gps capability so not really an option.
Thanks for any help
