Can anybody tell me when is the best time of the year to target king Fish in the Kaipara and in the Hauraki Gulf??

Up here in Mangawhai, January was on fire. Best it has ever been, by a long margin. But by Feb the sharks had rolled in. Still a few kings around now but certainly harder to find.

Now in Hauraki gulf right through to June, then August to early November,  if you find one,  likely will be huge.
