Well, they've got rid of the trout in our only worthwhile freshwater fishery, so **** it, why not?

Presume you are referring to the Kaiiwi lakes.

MB I yesterday turned right at Kano and drove about 45mins and came across a good size stream/river with no name signed but looked a decent place for trout …but farmer polluted. But during the dry and the farmers paddocks stop drain sh#t and piss into the river and gets a bit clearer looks likely. Do you know it?

No way moving Koi anywhere the damage they do is like stouts on birds …environmental destroyers and I don’t think they can be removed.

This guy was NZs worst environmental terrorist spreading course fish in hidden tanks in his car with big breeding tanks at his house dropping Rudd carp perch into pristine waterways all around NZ.

Yeah, koi are the great enemy, never mind the freshwater run off, sewerage overflow and cows ****ting everywhere. I'm not about to go releasing illegal fish, I don't care that much, but it's all a question of perspective. Indigenous good, non-indigenous bad, bah, bah. Trout are tolerated in the rest of the country because people like fishing for them.
