How's everyone feeling about this.

I am hoping that they will give us,   the go ahead to get a reduction to Alert level 3.

However will they let us have access to Lake Ferry, Ocean beach and the Wainuiomata coast on Alert level 3.
I bloody hope so. I don't know about you folks, but I am going crazy. The return of a few liberties will make a big difference.

Besides, winter fishing may send me over the edge. My hands may get stuck to my fishing rod. Thoughts

Hi Matt, we're all going crazy about not fishing but think of it as an opportunity to either upskill of get things ready for autumn & winter fishing. We're trying to keep all the COVID posts in one place:

It is what it is ..
Pros for pros against  dont matter.
When it comes around , be it area by area or what..
Again it is what it is.
One thing for sure .. those areas that have actually bitten the bullet, and stayed clean will be the 1st to start to come out of the lockdown.
 Mean time as Smudge says..
use the time to service gear, tie traces, do the wheel bearings..
Personally Im gutted , the best weather/ tide /swell windows over the bar.. have seen in 3 yrs go by.
Reels rods all serviced ready to go.
 Boat / trailer serviced, checked
Sorting SBs lures , hooks sinkers .ready to stow on the boat.
Weeell.. saw the windows got depressed  and they are still laid out on one end of the SS filleting bench in the shed..
Or more positive .. laid out to think about which box/ draw will go into on the boat.. lot of thinkingWink

Hold tight.. somehow I think with waters with no boats no fishing we will be seeing some of the best times when all comes off... maybe even think  "hey we should have this more often???"
