Exactly like that Lester. At first especially on calm days watch the line on the surface. In the wind watch it between the spool and the first guide. Quite often I flick the spool over straight into a fish but mostly the line tells you everything.

True but you know if you throw the drogue out in my situation you will probably be facing the wrong way with it behind you as the wind pushes you the other way.

But a shorter time and I find myself winding into fish. I drop a lot more this way, I much prefer my ideal conditions.
