What are some of the more consistent clear viz spots for the average boatie to get from Auckland to the far north?

I use to live at Gulf Harbour and would dive Tiri often, but its seldom more than 3-5m GREEN and with a LOT of bronzies I just dont enjoy it as much anymore.

Id rather save my gas money and pick my weather windows and travel far and wide for good pinnacles and Islands that have better viz, generally.
