Had an experiment with my new little fishing buddy yesterday

Awesome experience and can't wait to get out with her again.
Needless to say to old vest doesn't work anymore, neither will a back pack as I have a a pack that will carry her when she is a little bigger so the waist pack is the obvious choice.
Not looking to break the bank on one and don't want it to be too big.
Any good experiences out there with certain models brands? Things to look out for and things to avoid.

I have a Simms G4 Pro hip pack and it's a great piece of kit IF you're not going to be carrying too much. I can easily carry a couple of small lure boxes, a spinning reel, and bunch of other things. It sits easy on the hip and also has a sling that allows the weight to be carried a bit easier.
