Easy work around for the text after image problem Bazza is to simply hit enter 3 or 4 times before inserting the image then click back up above the final enter and insert your image there, this will give you a couple of empty lines under the image to click on to add text.

I suspect you having to decrease the zoom so low is caused by having a large text sizes selected as your default text size in all windows:
Internet Explorer Ease of Access options
  1. Open Internet Explorer and press the Alt key to display the menu bar.
  2. Select View, and then select Text size.
  3. Choose to make text larger or smaller than the size on the screen.

Just out of interest, why can't the photo's just be set to view as per the size of the screen.

Not sure if this is clear, but look at the photo Grant posted of the kingfish. The size is bigger than the screen and then you have to slide the rule at the bottom to see the picture in 2 sections.

There is nothing worse than trying to read a post that is so large that you have to keep sliding the rule at the bottom to follow the text.

Just a thought - 1st world problems I knowClown

Because the images are viewed on a variety of devices with different sized screens, they should be responsive (to the screen or browser window) and were previously. Have passed that issue on and thanks for the feedback.

[Edit: if an image is scrolling just try resizing your browser window slightly if you're on desktop/laptop. If on mobile, make sure you're in Mobile mode rather than Classic mode.  I still think it can be improved though and talking to Drew about that]
