Seems to me that we jet ski fishos are a very solitary bunch.  Who would be interested in being part of a club?  My wife and I are members of the Clevedon Fishing Club, if we had enough jet ski fishos interested we could have a jet ski section attached to the existing club (would need committee approval).  We could fish the main club comps but also have our own jet fishing section/comps and social events? 

Anyone interested?  The club is full of very cool people based out of the Clevedon Pub.  Local ramp at Kawakawa Bay is one of the best in Auckland and very reasonably$ to join, or launching at Maraetai is also easy.  Either ramp gives great access to sheltered and productive fishing grounds.

Last week my wife and I went to motuihe island, took the ski to Riverhead pub for lunch and back to the island and camped for the night. Proved that jet ski's are not just for fishing!

Hey mate might not be your kinda thing but on Facebook there is a group called NZ Jetski Fishing Community closed group. It has just ticked over 1000 members, the majority being Auckland based. It's an extremely active and positive group, plenty of info being thrown around and people joining people on trips, I think they have a few social events planned for the future too.
