That is a cool pic. And nowhere as easy as it looks.
Looks like a 12/0 slim hook? Type?
Here is a pic of one of our trips that was really just a fluke. Angler said "line coming up' third guy in boat just pointed camera in general direction and clicked. With the delay etc, it has to be a pure fluke but a pic of gold. Close up you can see the lure and water streaming off the gill plates. A oncer I think.

I find the pics much easier to post now. I think they have changed something. Used to be a nightmare.
I go to the pic emojo, then says to select file -  find your pic and click , and then it asks for 'OK' preview. Click OK and is done.
Works for me. Much better than used to be.

Alan yes taking those pics and getting the fish jumping  is tricky . My wife who angler in that photo would probably say it’s a terrible photo for cutting her out of it.  Yes I basically haven’t posted for a while hence found locating picture bit of an issue, got hang of now.

Kelvin  cheers for thank you, enjoy sharing knowledge. Should have added how baits are hooked can also varied
Nose hooked baits last longer and usually more active, but sometime hooking Mack’s through scruff of neck seems to send em deeper can be very effective. And if towing may wish to go trouble of bridling for better results.

Regarding the length of the bridle, the explanation Nathan from BAF gives in this video makes a lot of sense if you aren't worried about being IGFA compliant.

Well thats interesting. I heard they use long bridles. I will give that a crack - much longer than I use. They use braid. I use mono. If anyone is using mono one thing I found is if the livie goes slack - ie not pulling on the line, they sometimes fall off. The mono untwists itself and drops the hook. So now I rubber band the mono to the hook. Has a nice bit of stretchy give in it too.
