Is this worth getting done? I'm buying a Howa 1500 with a laminated stock and a fancy new barrel. It will be pretty functional but it would look the part if at least the metal work was all the same colour.

Is it as durable as the advertisements say? Any recommendations where to get it done?

Smudge I have a reel that I pulled apart and sent to Auckland to be ceracoted, it has lasted exceptionally well, in terms of durability The reel has exhibited no signs of corrosion anywhere since having it coated 7 years ago, even the handle has held up well, very similar to anodizing in my experience.
