I played a game in Dunedin and was billeted by a guy whos old man had played prop for Otago and he was a big fella. The old man was in his twlight years when he said he came up against a young up and coming prop. The old fella said first scrum he thought he would show the younger prop a thing or two as only props can do . He said next second he was being lifted in the scrum and his feet were off the ground. The young prop was Keith Murdoch, the old fella said he was the most powerful guy he had ever come across. 

 

Yes a sad story alright.
